About Us

Gain Solar Services, Inc. is a family owned solar business committed to helping families have the best solar that they can have. Johnny Valentine, owner of Gain Solar, has been installing solar since 2009. He is a licensed unrestricted electrician in the state of Georgia and a NABCEP certified solar installation professional. Johnny grew up in a solar passive home and still actively pursues efficient living on his own solar homestead. He helps other families achieve their own goals of efficient living through his genuine, outstanding services at Gain Solar.

Johnny Gains is extremely knowledgable, helpful, and good at what he does. Johnny sold me an upgrade to my existing system at a very fair price; I wish I had known about him at the time of my initial solar purchase. Not only was he fair in price, he was helpful by supplying me with the information I needed to decide for correct method and product to purchase for my upgrade. I did all of my own install but even then Johnny took time out of his extremely busy schedule to answer any questions I had to make for a proper install. After the install Johnny preformed an inspection and wrote a letter of approval with his certification number as a certified installer. I have used this letter for the approval with homeowners insurance and interconnection. Johnny helped me to upgrade from off-grid to a/c coupling. Johnny is truly professional and is concerned with more than padding his pocket. He is a family man who seems to have high moral values. If you are looking for a solar contractor that is knowledgable, fair, dependable, and safe for you and your family, then Johnny is your man. Johnny installed 500 watts of solar panels on my short school bus aka schoolie. He did an absolutely perfect install. He also noticed the back door would not lock and he took his time after the solar installation to help secure my soon to be new home. I would highly recommend Gain Solar Services.

As a Veteran of 10 Years At&T Plant Engineering and 20+ years as a licensed low voltage contractor I've worked with a lot of elite "specialty contractors". I have a 7Kw grid tied system installed by Gain Solar Systems. I love it, Johnny worked with me to give me the exact system I wanted. I Am probably averaging around $60 to $70 a month, less on my electric bill. He can beat anyone's price on Labor and the equipment. Solar doesn't have to be so expensive!

I'm a long haul trucker and needed a solar system to keep my fridge, water pump and other loads running in case there was a power outage while I was on the road. In 2016, Gain Solar Services installed a Magnum inverter, 6 panels and 4 6v batteries. They got the job done in a timely manner and did high quality work. Johnny Valentine was extremely knowledgeable, very professional and answered all of my questions. Last year after a bad storm, the house was without grid power for 6 days,..but solar kept my fridge, well pump and lights running, no problem. I will use them again in the future. and highly recommend them.
